Another successful day of riding for George. Today were the two steepest climbs of the route and mountain goal made it up without having to get off the bike to walk. It was a pretty route with house pastures. He started the ride a little later due to being very cold in the morning. I hiked the AT and got to talk to some nice AT'ers. We had the longest drive to find a hotel (about 45 min.) today. Another important thing is that we are now only about 13 miles away from Kentucky and looking forward to crossing the state lines. Overall, VA gets the thumbs up for beauty but thumbs down for people (not friendly and overall rude drivers).
